Job Description Founded in 1938, Wilcox Medical Center is a not-for-profit medical center dedicated to providing the Kaua'i community with accessible quality health care.
The largest medical center on Kaua'i, it is a state-of-the-art acute care facility with a full suite of services offering 30 specialties and programs, including cardiology, emergency, family practice, gastroenterology, health management, internal medicine, neurology, OB-GYN, oncology, orthopedics, pediatrics and urology.
Its 18-bed emergency department serves as the island's Primary Stroke Center.
The medical center also has four birthing suites, seven intensive care beds and 20 same-day surgery beds.
Wilcox is the first American College of Surgeons-verified Level III Trauma Center in the state of Hawai'i.

Rehabilitation Services provides physical and occupational therapy services to both inpatients and outpatients across the full continuum of care.
Our trained experts specialize in a variety of innovative programs for people with physical and cognitive disabilities and injuries, including conditions such as brain injury, stroke, spinal cord disorders, orthopedic injuries and post-surgical rehabilitation, multiple sclerosis, amputations, arthritis, Parkinson's disease and chronic pain.
As the Speech Language Pathologist, you have the opportunity to bring the gift of speech and rehabilitative speech therapy to patients suffering communicational challenges.
Specifically, you will provide speech-language services and consolation for inpatients and outpatients as medical center locations and contract sites.

Qualifications:
Current Hawai'i Speech Pathologist license.
Current American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) certification.
Current American Heart Association Heart Saver - AED CPR card.
Preferred
Qualifications:
One (1) year general speech language pathology experience.
